The Gnostic Apocalypse

We have the Apocalypse of John. This is a, I guess, retrospectively a Christian text, but at the time an interesting variant on the Jewish apocalypse,. We also have these interesting texts, which are generally known as the Gnostic Apocalypse. What they do not so typically have is a kind of public end of history. It's more an internal transformation.
