Counting and Numbers - Which One Did You Think Came First?
Tomaco: counting and numbers do seem to be very much entwined. It's quite hard to fathom one without the other. So en enlighten us, which one do you think came first? I think counting. But it's complicated. i suppose, tomaco, the difficulty is in knowing how far back early counting might go. Ok, we've got these possible tally marks on these incredibly old bones, 35 thousand years, that's amazingly old. If people were counting before them, but not making any marks, they still bein counting, right?
