How Did You Start Writing?

In the nineties, you'd been practising psychotherapist for a little while. Where did the impulse to write come from? And why do you keep on coming back to it? Thought that to thinker was published in 95, which meant i was writing it in 93 or so. I started writing because when i moved to new york,. i moved in with my wife, who was a sculptor. So i spread out all thea papers that i were that i waus re all my buddhist stuff and Psychoanalytic journals  that i was reading on the dining room table. That was the beginning of my writing time.
