The Journey to Pastoring

My grandfather had 22 brothers and sisters. My great uncle Arthur Arthur Beets was the pastor at the White Memorial when the hospital was still down there back in the 60s, 50s, 60s. So yeah, definitely come from Adventist stock, but got to grow up in a very particular kind of Adventism which I find to be a pretty significant blessing. Always been interested in religion, got to travel, grew up going into digs a Sarah, Caesarea Maritima. And so really had an opportunity to meet a lot of people religious always been fascinated to me, but it's not some I necessarily wanted to do for a living.
