The Importance of Context in SRE Practices

A lot of companies look at the Google model. They read the site Reliability Engineering book from 2016 and they try and emulate that, which is a problem. It's not a one size fits all type of solution. You have to customize it to the problems that you're dealing with. There's so many things to consider that will make SRE look very different in your organizational context than it does at any other company for that matter.
