The Problem With Interviews
I asked somebody why won't you do it and I was told the problem with modern interviews is they are clip clip clip. Forget that it is a voluntary process, nobody is forced to do an interview. The big change in my career moving from 3TV channels and no internet and no social media to where we are now is that politicians have many more options as to how they communicate. Are we in a landscape where actually there's just much less incentive on politicians to sign themselves up for a really tough grilling? Yeah, I think that is a difficulty. But I think we always have to live with the world that we're in rather than with a nostalgia for the world we've left behind
