The Googlers Compromise
The researchers here were not malicious. They wanted to highlight this problem. This is a problem that has been known for quite some time. It's not necessarily new. But the effect, I'm looking at some of the hosts that they compromised, these are definitely googlers. Theoretically, you could consider this a compromise of these employees. How would you look at it from a law enforcement side? If Google quoted today and explained the story to you, would there be a problem for the researchers in this case?
