Even the company s that can afford to pay for them, it still as hard to find. It's taking years to train these data scientists before they are able to really hit the drop market yet. Employers resort to basically tools and technology that can substitute for skilled people. There is this concept called the citizen data scientist which is some one who is not really a data scientist by role, by title, by experience or certainly by skills.
