The way that you're inculturated into a musical style is not by studying it. It's simply by having your ears on, right? You know? So if you grow up in new york city, and you're exposed toa of diversity, then all of those are kind of normal. They do all participate in these overarching, american, if you will, a musical language. And so one of the tendencies when when a music, hippop can be another, if you're not steeped in it, can be where you'll listen to it and say, it all sounds the same.
