Falwell refused to reconsider his position that homosexuality went against the Bible in the will of God. But he did stand in front of a pastiche of photos of murdered gay people and state his desire for peace inside both camps. As you might expect, Jerry's reaction to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 were uniquely shitty.
