In hunter-gatherer societies, even where we find inequality, it's usually much more limited than in agricultural and industrialized societies. So I want to ask you a little bit more about evidence from archaeology and then also about some historical events that are good illustrative examples of how we can study this phenomenon. But just before that, let me just tackle one issue that I think is very important here from a genetics perspective. Are there any pure populations that is, does the concept of race make sense from genetics perspective?
