The Kidnapping of Tase Booksellers in Hong Kong

Booksellers were in a parallel world within china. They published books about corruption and political intrigue. This was tolerated for the firsta, more or less two decades after the handover. After shijin ping took power in 20 12, the attitude toughened. Things that were tolerated in hong kong just weren't going to be tolerated any longer. One brave man blew the whistle on it, and that's how the story came out. The fact that booksellers would be kidnapped is a testament to how much the chinese communist party fears free discussion, free speech, an unopened society.
