The decision to refuse Polinis' burial is itself, I think, a kind of subjective access over the public law or the rule of law. If you read the context, this is not something that would be just expected of him. So, now, Antigone also doesn't act in the name of public good or general welfare and so on. It's quite clear. And of course, you could say that she only sees herself or Pauline's body, and she would also rather die than yell to her claim.
