What Do We Know About Infection Risk With Tape?
Tape is a unique piece of medical equipment it's never washed or sterilized after we open it. A role of tape can be used for many individuals without using gloves and it's supplied in close contact with intragascular catheters and endotracheal tubes. There are products you can use not that we would use in the OR but for long-term adhesive care that can reduce some of these complications. So sounds like reassuring news on the kind of allergy front that probably most people who think they're allergic to tape aren't.
