The Problem With Self-Organization

The self-organization of information happens whether you like it or not. It's organized in a way that doesn't suit the goal that you have at that time. So is disorganization just actually organized, but for a different purpose? I'm thinking about a note right now. If you think about a note, it's organized. But then if you look at a note at a different point in time, it's now disorganized. Or it's just self-organized for a different goal. And so what's the solution? Self-organization. You understanding something clearer in deeper languages, whatever, with affordances and constraints, solves the disorganization.
