Last time we covered how the english colonies in the caribbean and north america reacted to the early years of the english civil war. The colonial governments mostly did whatever they could to stay out of it. As we also covered last time, the colonies were very aware that the civil war back home left them incredibly vulnerable to external attack. So if a foreign power, either european, colonial or indigenous, tried to make the most of this opportunity, there wouldn't be much help coming from Europe.
