Cara says she appreciates the rich emotional tapestry in Pixar movies and asks, where does the story start? With theme or characters or is it something else? Cara: I don't think we ever start with a theme. Sometimes we start with a fun situation like, you know, the U seminar that plays beyond space and time. Andrew Stanton famously began finding Nemo because he felt like he was kind of being a helicopter parent to his son a bit too much and not giving him his freedom.
