Is This a Break With the Past Model of Russian Intervention?
It's most striking for me is that thy went so far beyond just invading and maybe annexing the two separatest regions, which is more what on the order of i had been expecting. Does this current war represent a break with the past model of russian intervention? It seems so different from the two thousand eight war in georgia, the seizure of crimea, the intervention on behalf of asad in syria, or the various interventions currently under way in africa.
