How to Stop AI From Getting More Difficult
The threshold of dangerous amounts of computing power is going to get lower and lower over time. The problem isn't like who gets a hold of the AI, the problem is the AI getting a hold of itself. There's only one company in the world looking at the Netherlands called ASML that builds the equipment used to make the GPUs, used to make AIs. And in a way, it's more centralized than nuclear weapons.
