The Risks of Artificial General Intelligence

The most powerful systems we are building now are on the cusp of artificial general intelligence. Machines that could in principle do almost all human jobs, you know, better than us. There is a lot of momentum a lot of progress in the field but we're still largely clueless on these things. The Chinese government is just as interested in having control as any Western government.
