What Do You Think of the Handling of Middle English and Latin?

i like that it's at least acknowledged that you couldn't just go back there and communicate with people easily. That's not how language works. I'm down to even the idea of a young woman travelling back there, and would she be literate, right? Yes, i really appreciated the implication that when she uses latin, she's intelligible to the other people who know latin, but when she uses middle english, they can't understand her right away.
