Terry Guar on Taiwan's Economic Importance

Terry Guar is currently in the United States, where he warned earlier this week against Taiwan becoming economically dependent on China. He told business association members that economic issues and not politics are the focus of his trip. But do I think his warning makes sense? Yes, but is it something revelatory? No. Do I think it might make him look a lot more open and different from some of the other KMT politicians that just keep insisting on putting our eggs in the China basket? Yeah.
