The Philosophy of Demon Possession

The devil or some other demon believes that he takes on human form by possessing a human body. So the question is, how does that happen? How can a spiritual being like a demon actually take possession over somebody and make them do things? It's not in the soul. There can be no actual connection between a human soul and a demon. The answer is at the very core of Christianity.
