There's still some ambiguity there for me. I just want to know, am I walking into the Jesus story feeling like, yeah, God chose Jerusalem and God's going to do something with the city of Jerusalem? And so when Jesus starts to talk about his disciples being the city, I'm like, whoa, what's happening? Like how did he get there? Right. In other words, the move Jesus is making is not unanticipated. It's already there in the book of Isaiah. Because in Isaiah, Jerusalem has already failed. Exactly.
