GE required five years of commercial experience, either consulting or some kind of sales and marketing background. In one way it was very difficult but less so than corporate gigs like Deloitte. The fit piece is important but less so compared to the GE process. You had 10 minutes to present something, Q&A and if you weren't done they would literally like pull you off the stage if you will.
