The History of the Fan

A lot of the earliest personal cooling methods were built around the fan. Lee and Ardo Da Vinci developed a water powered fan in about 1500. The first electric fan was developed by Crocker and Curtis Electric Motor Company in 1882. There are also all kinds of architectural features all over the world intended to keep people cooler.
