Lenin's Plan to Stake Everything on One Card
Two members of the central committee disagreed with Lenon's plan to stage a coup. They said it would be disastrously counterproductive and even foolish, given how things were going for the party. Lenin was asking them to stake everything on one card - they were absolutely correct. Absent lenon's impassioned, angry, persuasive, clear-eyed and somewhat hare brained case, the bolsheviks could have let the moment slip by. But they did not. And next week, they will launch their coup to alter the course of history from february to october.
