The Importance of Slowing Down When Tracking
The training system that I used to train tracking dogs came because the city of Seattle started becoming more urbanized. It was getting in the way of the dogs being really comfortable doing it in an urban environment. So when we're doing tracking training, the slowing down is maybe more for us than for the dog's sake. When dogs go, when, I mean, I'm a tracking newbie, Steve. Please don't judge me too hardly.
