Introduction

Until 2003, ceasefire along the line of control in international border and Jhagun Kashmir were preceded by war between India and Pakistan. On November 23, 2003, an announcement of a unilateral ceasefire starting on Ihigul Futul was made by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Mira Zafrulak Khan Jhavani. In 2020, India reported 5,133 ceasefire violations on the border. A re-ofumission of the ceasefire through a DGMO conversation and a subsequent joint statement by India and Pakistan in February 2021 was a major effort to rise in the state.
