CHAPTER

The Kennedys and the Connellys: A Big Giant Deal

President Kennedy and his wife Jackie were on their way to a luncheon in Dallas when they were shot. The president was pronounced dead at 1 p.m., though as far as the doctors were concerned, he had been lost since the moment the second bullet hit his head back there in the car. Governor Connolly of course survived, but it wasn't just Kennedy's blood that was mixing on the floor with those pedals. There was a man, a 27 year old car salesman who had stopped to watch the motorcade and there was a shot that did not hit either of the gentleman in the car; It hit a curb and a chunk of cement came off and hit this guy too.
