Is Hamilton an American History Textbook?

I don't care if you do like Hamilton as long as you are making a good faith effort to interact with the very valid criticisms of it as an art piece especially in terms of its political messaging. I think that we can hold pieces of art absolutely responsible for their political messaging and my perception of what the founding fathers were like as people was incredibly influenced by the musical 1776 which I saw as a child yep anyway.
