Cross-Training for Technical Teams
In my experience, most technical people want to learn something new. So whilst you'll often have tasks that do need to be completed quickly or within a certain time frame,. sometimes you can build Slack into a project to allow for some longer running research sections. That's especially the case if the technical members of the project team are responsible for both break fix as well as their project work. You have to build that Slack into the timelines because you'll never totally quantify the amount of time you need to reserve for that break fix or support part of the role.
