I think we've reached a stage where relationships aren't as black and white as society has perhaps previously expected them to be. There are so many theories that explain why people are driven to cheat, but so few theories that kind of put that blame on the partner. Maybe these ideas around cheating would be less negative in the idea of sleeping with someone else or having emotional intimacy with someone else could be more accepted. I hope this kind of shed some light on why it happens... But also expresses that I don't think it's anyone's fault.
Why do people cheat? Is the phrase once a cheater, always a cheater correct? Where do conceptions of monogamy come from? Learn in this episode.
