Krasner's Another Storm
The first breakthrough moment was when there was a small exhibition that had been organized at the Picasso Museum in Malaga and it was ostensibly about Pollock. Krasner has a very ambivalent status with feminism, she says it arrived too late you know how wonderful it would have been for her if it could have come and ameliorated her circumstances 40 years earlier. When other exhibitions of that kind of being staged it feels like what is sometimes called hersteries trying to take women's stories and insert them into this largely white male history yeah rather than feeling like we might also just be showing them because they're a great artist but more than anything they're just a great artist that speaks
