A Memoir of Judy Human
Judy human passed away two weeks ago she was a lioness of the disability rights movement. One of the ringleaders of the 1977 sit-in of a federal building in San Francisco which forced implementation of section 504 of rehabilitation act precursor to ADA. She later worked in the Clinton and Obama administrations championing disability rights throughout the world. Emily I used a wheelchair after contracting polio as a toddler when she was a child, may her memory be a blessing.
