Will & Grace - The Problem With Improvisation

There's a thing I've noticed in TV where if a friend makes a joke, it's... And then the other friend laughs at that joke. It's uncomfortable. If this were a film, we would shoot that and you would laugh. We don't like them laughing in character. Which is so interesting that there's all these ... I can see the math of this in it. But because they're improvising, you know, it's a real laugh.
