I Believe My Latent Factor Causes My Indicator
The SEM, with a traditional multiple indicator, latent variable is very poorly suited to deal with that. One of the beauties of the partial least squares modeling framework is that it doesn't care. It says, you get those however you want, and we will take it from here. And I have to say, I find that kind of attractive.
