I didn't want to join Google really because the idea of joining a startup back in those days, it wasn't like a really established career path. I ended up going to Harvard as faculty and that was a really interesting experience. And then the thing that I've learned about myself over the years has just been that desire to try new things. It's like if you've played a video game over and over again and you've gotten really good at it, I'm the kind of person that wants to say okay, I won that game, let me play a different game now.
