The Life Cycle
The BBC has now reached the point of the rules. You're not allowed to say what must be the day. Can we talk about the life cycle? In early spring, queens come out of hibernation. They tend to build a nest on their own and I happen to have one in my garden. All those workers are your pest controllers in your garden. If you don't allow it to live until the end of its colony cycle, there won't be any honeybees left. The whole colony will die at the end of the year. And if you've got a nest in your attic or shed from a previous year, it's not like that anymore. It'll just go completely away
