What's a Palmer Worm in the Book of Joel?
In the beginning of these verses, you know, they use the term gazam, which means great locus. It's clear that he is using words for locus and a cadian, which is an easy, Semitic language for Mesopotamia. Some people see this as the Assyrians or the Babylonians followed by Persians, Greco-Roman period. So, it is a book that describes war of destruction, of discouragement, but also tries to present a message of hope in the future.
