The Cruelties of Elizabeth
Elizabeth's in-laws were just as cruel as Elizabeth, and would torture their servants. The Roman Emperor Maximilian sent a letter of apologizing for his absence along with grand gifts. After the wedding, Farronst changed his name to Baltry because during this time, the person whose family belonged to a lower rank would take the surname of their spouse. It's said that he taught her many different ways of torturing and how to kill them.
