The Cost of Menopause

Northern Territory Police Commissioner Jamie Chorka has announced his retirement. He was accused of making an unauthorized request for federal government support to end the recent crime wave in Alice Springs. Bruce Lerman is granted leave to sue two media outlets for defamation on their reporting of those allegations. The defamation trial is expected to be in court in November. A study found that menopause costs American women $1.8 billion in lost work days and around $25 billion in medical costs each year.
