The last chapter is chapter 12 the larger story. He says that when we let god put us back together, the result is something that is better than new. It's like, you're not going to be perfect. We've all got cracks, so just own em, do the best that you can and you'll come out better on the other side. And if you like, that's a pretty cool way to wrap this up.
