The First Free People of Color to Vote
The first tennessee constitution, which was written way back in 17 90, sixi, gave mail free people of color the right to vote. A lot of folks don't know that it didn't last forever. Safter the rebellion led by nat turner in 18 31, tennessee went back changed things. But that does mean, technically, if you want to be a lot of fun at parties, you can say the malungans were some of the first free people of colour to vote.
