Anirta, May You and Your Companions Farewell
The first shy rays of pink sunlight are appearing at the lips of the cave. Dawn is here. There's a commotion outside. A few young monks have come running up vulture peak, evidently in great agitation. We can hear ananda calming them down as budha rises from his mat and walks outside. He asked these monks to take him to the black rock on the isigili slope. There he stabbed himself and bled to death. The monks seemed pleased and relieved with the answer. Oh, what a delight. Anirta, may you and your companion farewell.
