Ticks can survive in sub-zero temperatures and then when brought back to room temperature, they can continue on with their life as if nothing happened. They probably couldn't live in a freezer for very long, but you could probably put them in there for maybe up to a day, half a day,. The adults might still be alive afterwards, especially the adults. Don't advocate these experiments at home. Just a chicken patch.
