The eas published its proposals for tweaking the northern ireland protocol. This is the northern irish bit of the breget deal, which means that some rules of the single market apply then ireland. The two positions are pretty far apart right now over the protocol. But i think that what you do have on the side, and in the capitals, at least, like here in berlin, is just total weariness with it lit.
