What Has Changed Since Starburst?
In two thousand ten, when we were getting started with pedab, the world of open source analytic engines was almost non existent. The only one that pre dated us was the early versions of hive which were exclusively batch oriented and would take hours to run. You now, our whole idea was, could you build an interactive analytic engine that would be more likea averdica or green plumb or metisa? And i think that's why, you know, you saw the performance sort o steadily increase over time.
