For me this maybe was alittle easier, because for a time, i was the doman expert, and i was new to basian modelling. And that's where i took my domain expertise, i plugged it into m, into a particular tool, which i'm ll talk about later. From that tool, i could then have full range to say, this total time will take anywhere between, let's say, eight days to 20 days, most likely being 15 days. In other cases, its jus talking to experts, like you said, it's partnering with domain experts in understanding the data genering process and an m capturing that into an inform model the best way you can.
