Scala and the Closure Community
Scala has a number of experimental features are they just in dark corners or whatever that I don't you know. It's like I love that Scala experiments with things but I totally see if you had a team of more than a few people who aren't all Scala wonks ah it's going to be a problem. A language is just one part of the story and we tend to get pretty attached to our programming languages and communities. We have a hard time admitting that maybe we should use a different language for a given problem set. For me the that comes out when I'm doing anything involving ml and I've played around a bit with neural networks and tense of flowing the last couple of years
